a nonprofit biennial art event that was first held in 1993.
It was conceived to present Los Angeles with significant international
exhibitions, topical panel discussions and other special events,
so as to initiate a dialogue between the Los Angeles and internationalart
communities. Throughout Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Brentwood,
Venice, Beverly Hills,West Hollywood, San Pedro and Pasadena,
75 galleries and art institutions have invited some 200 artists
from over 30 countries to exhibit for five weeks in their
gallery spaces. This year, it will be held from July
9th through August 16th, 2003. |
